Something old, something new. Inspired by the desire for a slight update on the classic Victorian Albert Chain, once used to hold pocket watches. They cleverly featured a T-bar which fastened into a button hole on the waistcoat. While we no longer have much use for such functions, that T-bar was a short cry from being a clasp. So to be in keeping, we re-introduced our very first clasp: a toggle shaped like a crescent.
This will be sold in a limited edition of 10. Over the past few years we've sourced antique chains (all of a certain weight and density) and made a careful collage of old and new curb chains so as to create the beautiful graduation you see here, in your perfect length. You'll find the antique links still bear their original hallmarks.
Solid sterling silver, oxidized in the recesses as a nod to the antiquity and to highlight the form of the beautifully rounded links. The links taper from approximately 9.6mm at the widest to 3.5mm at the ends. Weighty and sinuous in the very best way.
