The Iris setting is distinguished by its flower-like, sinuous curves, lending itself perfectly as a home for this 1.26ct green, jewel toned, sapphire from the Umba Valley in Tanzania. These sapphires are known for they're unique grey and purple undertones, adding a bit of mystery to the stone's predominantly green hue. To further compliment, it has been set it in a rich 18k green gold. This gold has slightly more silver in it than standard yellow gold, giving it a unique green-ish hue. Combining it with the richness of 18k allows it to strike a balance somewhere between warm and cool...making it one of my all time favorite metals.
This ring is size 5 and has been finished with a sandblasted exterior and polished interior.
