Our newest solitaire design was created with the intention to be perfect both as a bolder engagement piece, or as an elegant, stand alone statement ring. Not quite a "cocktail ring", nor a delicate daisy, but perhaps a bit more like the proud tulip.
And so it was named for the petal like shape of the band's flared profile. The interior is generously rounded to mimic the exterior, but inversely. It measures 8.5mm wide at the stone, 6.6mm at the widest point on the band, which tapers to 3.9mm in the back. The stone is a unique antique diamond somewhere between a portrait cut and an octagonal. It is graded as a fancy brown/yellow with SI1 clarity, however any imperfections are undetectable to the naked eye making the cut of the stone particularly striking. The rich 18k royal gold has a sandblasted finish with polished highlights and interior.
This ring is a size 4.75 and unavailable to resize. This style is also available for custom orders with other stones, in other sizes and metals. Email studio@katejones.us to inquire.
